Shield Cat is a game being created by Roxy in Gamemaker Studio 2.

Below are the platforms that are currently supported. Please see the Installation Instructions to find out how to install the game on these platforms.

Game Modes

Shield Cat will have different game modes. They are described below:

Random Mode

Random Mode changes the location of all items and upgrades in the game, as well as all treasures. It uses unlocked randomization, which means that the ability you need may be beyond an area that requires that ability. However, all abilities and upgrades, as well as items, are available from the shops.

Difficulty Modes

Shield Cat will have the following difficulty modes

Chill Mode Enemies do half damage and Lance does 1.5 damage. You don't really have to worry about anything, just enjoy the game!
Regular Mode Enemies do 1x damage and so does Lance. So pretty much just regular difficulty.
Cool Mode Enemies do 1.5x damage and Lance does 75% of the damage he'd usually do. For a challenge!

Shield Cat currently supports the following features:

  • Fully remappable controls with different/multiple actions on each input.
  • Keyboard, Mouse, and Gamepad input.
  • Translation Engine that allows people to contribute their own translations.
  • Fullscreen or windowed play at arbitrary resolutions.
